Such an amazing winery to visit and even better an amazing wine to drink! They only do tours a few days a week and the tour is very personal. It was just my husband and I with one of the owners and for two hours we learned quite a bit about how they make their wine and about the history of the vineyard. We sat in the shade among the vines and enjoyed tasting several of their wines along with their olive oil and the tasting included a charcuterie board with bread. It’s clear that they are passionate about what they do. We were also lucky to be there in a day that they were harvesting. We bought some wine to ship home which they arrange for you. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing ! The winery is beautiful, JJ was very sweet and great at keeping conversation and giving us all the history of the vineyard and the wine that was served. And, importantly, he had the sweetest little dog running around the vineyard. Highly recommend !

We really enjoyed our visit to De Angeles. JJ hosted a really nice wine tasting under the olive trees in the winery. Together with experiencing a number their wines, JJ shared the history of his family in the wine business, the vineyard and winemaking process. We also purchased a case of wine that was sent back to the U.S. Everything arrived in great shape and we are enjoying a little bit of Argentina every time we open a bottle. I highly recommend De Angeles. Great experience, great wine and great people!

If you’re in Mendoza and want to learn about and appreciate the art and love of wine making, you cannot miss a visit to De Angeles! Visits are by appointment only a few times a week because the tours are given by one of the owners, so be sure to plan ahead and make your reservations early. Don’t make the same mistake we did and schedule another winery visit too soon (for sure no sooner than 3 hours) after because you’ll want to stay and take your time enjoying the incredible wines, peaceful environment, and conversation. Juan Jose (JJ) was a wonderful host - his passion and knowledge for the vineyard, its history, and the wines are infectious. We felt like we walked away with a new friend and deeper appreciation for the craft of winemaking. We couldn’t recommend more highly De Angeles wines and a tour with JJ. Hands down our favorite in Mendoza!

Amazing experience in De Angeles. We were welcomed by Juan who is the grandson of the founder. We couldn't have been happier with the experience we had! The tour is very private (just for the group you're in), which allows you to really understand the history of the Bodega. He carefully explained the history of De Angeles before he allowed us to taste the wine within the different stages of production (I've never been able to do it in such a thoroughly manner as done by him). We later on went to the wine tasting along with some cheese and local ham. We also offered us to taste their olive oil (and olives) which is something you can't miss in the world. The smell and taste is just unforgettable. I recommend it 200% if you are visiting Mendoza and you would like a true local experience (and premium wines).
